Chapter 2
Should Yoshiki and Ayumi make the choice to check Classroom 1-A instead of following the ghost back into the infirmary, they will encounter Heiri alone in Classroom 1-A. Apparently, the girl was lost and separated from the others after experiencing an earthquake and being chased by ghosts. Figuring that they couldn't just leave Heiri alone, Yoshiki agrees to have her accompany them. Since she was grateful, Heiri offers them rice crackers which she pulls out from inside her bag. Upon accepting it, they share half a bag of crackers together, before Yoshiki suddenly brought up the ghost in the infirmary. Figuring that she should just go along with it and possibly protect them in the process, Heiri follows them.

Moments later, they find Mayu chatting with two other spirits, Yuki Kanno and Tokiko Tsuji. After they lift Mayu into the air, Heiri quickly proceeded to chant, "If spirits threaten me in this place, Fight Water by Water and Fire by Fire, Banish their souls into nothingness and remove their powers until the last trace. Let these evil beings flee through time and space." No sooner had she done so, the spirits suddenly drop Mayu to the ground before screaming out in agony. Figuring that this was their chance, Yoshiki forcefully grabbed Mayu and made a run for it alongside Heiri and Ayumi.

At the end of the hallway, however, Heiri suddenly slaps Mayu and exclaims that she was so annoying back there, it sickened her; furthermore, she states that Mayu would need a good beating as punishment. At the very last second, though, Naho appears before them to commend each individual for escaping safely before explaining that Heiri was under the minor effects of the Darkening. With the help of Yoshiki and Mayu's plea for forgiveness, however, she finally snaps out of it. Sure enough, introductions ensue and Naho suggests that to fully appease the spirits, they should get the murderer to express remorse.

Eventually after deciding to do so after all, the group comes across a doll and brings it back to the infirmary, with Heiri and Mayu waiting outside of the infirmary. Unfortunately, hearing their killer's remorse only causes the spirits to be angered and exit out before flinging both Heiri and Mayu to the nearest wall. Fortunately, she had murmured out a spell to significantly lessen any harm that may befall on her and only managed to get out with bruises along her back. Back in the infirmary, Ayumi threw down Yoshikazu's doll and left the room with Yoshiki following after her. There, they see Heiri unharmed, but Ayumi instantly freaked out upon registering Mayu's bloody remains beside her.

After she ran off, Heiri immediately starts pursuing her, yet halfway there, she witnesses Yoshiki being struck behind by a hammer and Yoshikazu dragging him away. At that point, she quickly catches up to Ayumi and pushes her up against a wall on top of the stairs and scolding her for leaving Yoshiki behind. Sooner or later, Heiri rushes off looking for him and was never seen again.

Chapter 5
Should Ayumi and Yoshiki choose not to search Classroom 1-A, Heiri would appear towards the very end of the Chapter. Once Yoshikazu is directly behind him, she suddenly runs up towards Kizami and pushes him aside to suffer the hammer's incoming blow instead. Upon not knowing what to do afterwards since he had failed, Yoshikazu instantly runs off into the distance. While he was shocked, Kizami is also rather angered for apparent reasons unknown to him. He made a move to go after Yoshikazu but is stopped by Heiri, who suddenly grabs the back of his sleeve and requests that she stay with him during the last moments of her life.

It's there that Kizami feels an emotional ache inside his chest and demands to know why she went to such lengths for him. In response, Heiri reminisces throughout her words and admits that he had meant everything to her. To reassure him, she also stated that she would become his guardian angel right after she dies, at which point Kizami finally responds by offering to end all her suffering after all. Only, he wasn't able to do so, once he heard more of Heiri's kind words. Before dying, she attempted to confess and was cut off in mid-sentence by her heart beat ceasing.

At that moment, Kizami repeatedly called out her name but soon discovered that Heiri was dead. Within seconds, a giggling Sachiko comes out of the science lab and questions as to whether or not he wants to stay with her forever, before the story then returns to Yuka. It's soon revealed that Heiri left her student ID with her piece of paper near Tohko's body from outside of the infirmary, who was noted to have hand prints all around her throat. It's implied that Heiri previously forced the poor girl to cut off her own tongue.

Extra Chapter 4
After the Dating Sim events, Heiri is seen with Kizami, Katayama, Ohkawa, Shimada, Emi and Tohko all gathered around in a circle by a dark classroom at Heavenly Host. Shimada and Ohkawa were both unconscious with Heiri laying blankets over them from her school bag. Apparently, she had been planning to sleep over at Mitsuki's house later on that evening.

Episode #2; 『Demise』
In this episode, Heiri had also been separated from her friends. She soon discovers Yoshiki and Mayu trying to save Nana before heading over there to lend a hand. After they managed to rescue her, she travels with the group to find their friends, as well as be on the look out for her class mates. Upon encountering the spirits blocking the stairway to the third floor, Heiri is caught looking really pale and clinging onto Yoshiki for dear life the first time around.

Once they found Ayumi and she slaps him, Heiri had actually stepped in and reprimanded the girl for her attitude. This in turn causes the latter to be rather testy with her and sure enough, a fight accumulates when Ayumi accidentally provoked her to kick out against her shin. This causes Yoshiki and Mayu to have to restrain them both while Nana became instantly uncomfortable with the situation.

Later on, she gently scolds Heiri for acting out after Yoshiki and Ayumi fell asleep. Unfortunately, though, Heiri had taken this the wrong way and assumed her to be a hundred percent against her. Being at a loss, Mayu gradually interjects, which sort of makes things worse between them. Heiri only lashes out in anger before running away. Being rather concerned, Nana agreed to go after her before ensuring that she couldn't possibly have gone that far. Unfortunately, Heiri is never found and both Nana alongside Mayu died by the end of this chapter.

Episode #5;『Shangri-La』
After Mitsuki ran away from Morishige, she encountered Heiri, who suddenly tried to attack her while being under the influence of the Darkening. Though she had gotten considerably hurt, Mitsuki managed to knock her unconscious with one of her binding spells before fleeing once more.

Episode #6;『Mire』
Kizami had apparently found Heiri unconscious by a staircase and carried her back into the science lab with intentions to kill her right after he had done so with Yuka. While being questioned about Heiri, however, Kizami acts rather dismissive and sets her down against the side of a table. Just as she woke up and noticed Yoshikazu Yanagihori from behind Kizami, Heiri leapt out and pushed him aside to deal with the hammer's finishing blow instead. This leaves Kizami to be in much shock, causing Yoshikazu to have yet another chance to kill him off.

Episode #7;『Tooth』
For the first part of the episode, it was mentioned by Kurosaki that Heiri might have also liked Kizami. No sooner would he have mentioned it, Tohko instantly has flashbacks of the girl, depicting her to always be around Kizami and Kurosaki. It's revealed that while she was nice, there were rumors amongst girls that something bad were to happen  if they were to mess with her. Tohko, of course, merely dismissed it to be just a rumor and feels that she could somehow make Heiri give up on these feelings of hers at a later date, especially with Katayama and Ohkawa secretly 'fawning' over her without the girl actually knowing it.

From the start of a flashback at Heavenly Host, Heiri is now seen with the others, while Tohko and Emi had been in the Girl's Lavatory. From that point on, she followed along with whatever the group had decided and stayed behind to look after Katayama with Ohkawa and Emi. Before he died, however, Katayama had apparently confessed his feelings towards Heiri, which rendered her in a state of disbelief. The moment Tohko finally returns, Heiri will try her best to console Ohkawa... only for them to soon encounter Kai, falling down to his knees with a knife stuck through his stomach. Though reasonably calm, Heiri had been paralyzed with fear at the sight of the ghosts surrounding him.

Afterwards, she insisted on sticking to Kizami and the others, due to her growing concern for Ohkawa. Sure enough, Emi and Ohkawa stared to argue amongst themselves with Heiri trying to be the mediator and offering to help organize a funeral for Katayama with the latter. Unfortunately, though, Kizami suddenly pushed his corpse down the stairs, alongside Ohkawa, who only stopped for brief moments to hear what she said before fleeing and stating that she should just go to hell for overlooking his best friend's murder. Emi, believing that Heiri was somehow in hoots with Kizami, ran off to find Tohko.

Unbeknownst to the girls, she actually followed after her and proceeded to lash out at Emi for leaving him behind, once she was about to run away alone. It's finally there that Tohko would witness Heiri strangling Emi. Of course, Emi had managed a great struggle and escaped... with Heiri in tow.

(TBA until further notice.)

Wrong Ends/Deaths:
Heiri doesn't have any wrong ends, but she can die a total of two times in Chapter 5 of Corpse Party, depending on what choice the player makes. If Ayumi and Yoshiki meets her, she would later die in the Science Lab but if she hadn't met either of them, Heiri would die at a time when Kizami is chasing after Yuka. In Book of Shadows, she only dies in Episode 6 the same way she did in the events leading up to a wrong end for Yuka back in Chapter 5 of Corpse Party.

『 P S Y C H O L O G I C A L 』

Biography:
Ever since she could remember, Heiri never really knew her actual parents as she had been an orphan. They apparently died in a terrorist attack but when she still happened to be a baby, a single unmarried man by the surname of Ikusaba took her in. As far as home life was concerned, it had been rather pleasant but upon growing up, she had suffered through some difficult drawbacks.

To be rather specific, she used to be obese. This prompted other kids to call her 'Piggy-saba' with boys being especially disgusted by her. Being around a younger Kizami was the only thing that seemed to keep her smiling at the time. To fend off her loneliness, Heiri became attached to the boy but other than him, she had nobody else to call as a friend... or at least, not before Kurosaki came into the picture.

Over time, the two boys managed to show her enough kindness for the girl to eventually develop a heart of gold. When they grew up, however, Heiri was being subjected to a lot of bullying by other girls, often when Kizami and Kurosaki were nowhere to be found. They ganged up on her in the bathroom stalls before stuffing her face down into the toilet, stealing her things, trashing the nice clothes she wore to mock her, placing crumpled pictures of her as a pig into her desk, pushing her down into the school yard and even stomping all over her afterwards.

The only one who ever suspected a thing was Kizami, who had encouraged her to strike back in a slightly annoyed manner. It was through his influence alone that Heiri began taking revenge and every single time, she used to run into his arms with tears in her eyes. Sure enough, however, the bullying had made her so conscious, she stopped eating upon entering middle-school, causing her to lose a lot of weight. For a while after that, Heiri also resorted to self harm but it soon came to a halt before attending Byakudan Senior High, the reason being that Kurosaki and Kizami had set up an intervention to ensure that things didn't become much more worse. While there weren't any details of what happened, however, it's safe to assume that the intervention went well.

Heiri then spent a year at Byakudan Senior High and transferred over to Pinewood Heights, out of respect for her father's wishes, due to it being closer. From what it seemed, however, she had no difficulties in making new friends at Byakudan and even dropped by at one point to do the Sachiko Ever After charm.

Personality:
Compared to most of the characters, Heiri has a more mellow personality. She is a calm and rather soft spoken girl starting out with hints of sweet-natured intentions, from how she had laid blankets over Shimada and Ohkawa when they were both fast asleep. Unlike Mayu or Yuka, however, Heiri isn't actually intimidated so easily unless literal ghosts are involved. In that case, she would grow really nervous but otherwise, she's perfectly composed. Despite this, Heiri manages to suppress her fear in dire situations, should that mean someone important to her is in trouble.

From a young age, Heiri learned to be a superb liar by practicing and rehearsing words and emotions in front of the mirror for so long, to the point where she fools herself into thinking things she's not truly feeling. The only one who managed to look past this act is Kizami, who went into much lengths to observe her after spending their childhood together. With anybody that she considers dear to her, Heiri tends to justify their actions with deep and complex reasons. Perhaps she thinks too much but it's precisely because she thinks, that Heiri's able to excuse most of the bad things they do. Additionally enough, she also puts a great effort into understanding Kizami during their time at Heavenly Host together and gets frustrated at anybody who misunderstands his intentions.

Throughout Corpse Party, Heiri is so paranoid to the point where she will always prepare herself for the worst case scenarios. It could range from bringing extra food provisions or even learning banishment spells for ghosts and demons. In this way, she proves to have an over-reactive imagination and easily worries about being thwarted by fate itself.

She's shown to be shallow by admitting that she initially judges people by looks. As far as other guys are concerned, Heiri will only go after the good looking ones. To be rather honest, if she doesn't know the person, she will secretly look down on them for their appearance, but upon realizing that they have greater qualities which really make up for their appearance, she starts feeling differently towards them.

Ironically enough, Heiri has no self esteem in the looks department whatsoever. She constantly puts herself down and doubts she could ever amount to much, which ultimately results to an inferiority complex. Romance wise, she retains a pessimistic outlook with the belief that no guy would ever like her due to there being much more prettier girls out there; in other words, forever alone. Throughout some occasions, Heiri would even express loneliness and disappointment in life with silent yet comical tears. In fact, she expresses much distress upon being ignored for something or someone else. Sure, other guys secretly thought she was cute but at the same time, Heiri wasn't exactly their type - no, their type was a girl who had actual sex appeal.

As far as crushes are concerned, she is quite oblivious to the signs, should anybody harbor an interest for her. Being rather indecisive, Heiri never does act on her feelings, mostly because she doesn't believe there to be a chance whatsoever that the other person on the receiving line could reciprocate them. This causes her to give up or just stand by and watch whoever she likes get taken by another girl. In love, Heiri is most likely the one to play the cautious type until she knows for absolutely sure that it's safe to confess.

In addition to this, Heiri has more of an inclination to be hateful towards girls due to having been bullied pretty badly in the past, so if one of them were to make so much as a bad impression on her, she would probably have a cruel trick played on them later on, whether it be trashing their shoe locker or stealing something precious to them. Because of this, there were rumors started among-st girls that if one had been mean towards Heiri then bad things will happen.

While actually really kind and gentle, the past acts of bullying had over-maximized her anger, to the point where she could no longer take it in silence whenever they chose to downgrade her. Deep down inside, Heiri hated other girls so much, she wanted nothing more than to kill them and because she had believed from her bullying that girls could do cruel things to other girls, that it's OK for her to somehow hurt them in her own way.

Only, as far as Mitsuki, Emi and Tohko were concerned, she didn't necessarily hate them, since they acted generally kind towards her. In a place like Heavenly Host, however, her hatred could only amplify to the point where she starts nitpicking at every single thing a girl does, especially with her patience wearing thin. As horrible as this sounds, Heiri will bring herself to actually cause physical harm while never really killing at the same time.

If there's one thing about her that is absolutely guaranteed, however, she is dedicated with whatever she sets her mind to. According to her adoptive father, she often studied, practiced yoga and even went on a diet for eight days straight in order to lose weight.

Positive Traits:
Quiet, resourceful, reliable, thoughtful, sympathetic (for the most part), understanding (for the most part), cooperative, agreeable, modest, loyal, gentle (for the most part) and calm

Bad Traits:
Impatient (only at Heavenly Host), aggressive at times (only at Heavenly Host while under the influence of the darkening), intolerant of other girls (only at Heavenly Host), vengeful, inhibited, resentful, reckless when it comes to saving others, self-deprecating and quick tempered (only difference is that it's more passive and rarely shows unless she's under the influence of the Darkening)

Likes:
Fantasy novels, believing in 'things that don't exist', dating sims, soothing music, sweets, arriving early for all occasions, listening to other people's problems, revenge, romance, beauty and attractiveness.

Dislikes:
Annoying girls, getting fat, loneliness, ghosts, bullies, acting too dependent on others, being provoked to anger, not being prepared, those who don't understand that Kizami's been through a lot and logic.

Fears:
Ghosts, accidentally crying in front of people, Kizami's emotional well-being, rejection and losing important memories or feelings.

Hobbies:
Writing ; It became a great outlet for her at times, especially when she used to keep diaries and journals at a young age. Over time, however, she started growing an interest in fantasy genres, causing her to write short stories about all sorts of things.... like unicorns and magical worlds. She also carries around a notebook with her.

Yoga ; Heiri finds it relaxing and good for burning calories. After the intervention, she resorted to doing that on a daily basis, which became the main source of her endurance and strength later on.

Dating Sims ; Being a girl, she prefers otome games but seeing as though Heiri is a sucker for romance, she also likes the games that Katayama and Ohkawa plays. With dating sims in particular, she plays them every now and then because it makes her heart stir in happiness.

Future Dream:
To be a counselor so she can at least resolve other people's feelings or problems, if not her own. She believes that overcoming many demons of these individuals will gradually turn her into a much better person.

『 R E L A T I O N S H I P S 』

Family:
Chie Yoshino (Biological Mother)
Not much is known about Heiri's mother, besides the fact that she still happened to be a highschooler when she had gotten married with Masaomi before having a daughter. According to the orphanage officials, though, Chie was still pretty young at the time.

Masaomi Yoshino (Biological Father)
Masaomi was the one who apparently named Heiri. He used to be a former university student and a bartender before dying.

Toshiro Ikusaba (Adoptive Father)
Again, not much is known about him other than the fact he's rather unsuspecting yet kind. Toshiro seems to care about Heiri perhaps far more than she would ever know.

Best Friend(s):
Yuuya Kizami and Kensuke Kurosaki
This could be rather one sided on her part, but for Heiri, she considers them both to be her best friends. Sure, Kizami might have been just following with whatever Kurosaki did at the time, but they would do their absolute hardest to look out for her and include the girl in whatever games they play... and it meant a lot. With Kurosaki, though, Heiri was encouraged to exercise with him at a young age. In fact, he had oftentimes helped her to lose weight... although Heiri couldn't necessarily keep up with him and she never seemed quite satisfied, even after becoming less more chubby over the years.

Heck, she was even considered much more cuter now by Kurosaki's standards, despite how Heiri doesn't exactly think so. Heck, there was even that one time where Kizami had stated something along the lines of, "Who are you and what have you done to Ikusaba?" one day after witnessing the fruits of her labor. Upon being bullied constantly for her appearance, however, it's only natural that Heiri would think lowly of herself and it's usually on Valentine's Day that Kurosaki would have to cheer her up.

Most likely out of pity, he'll go out with her on dates during middle-school and sometimes even spring that favor onto Kizami in his place during the times where he can not take her out. Sure enough, however, that stopped, what with Heiri frequently holing herself up in the house on that day to eat chocolates so as to forget about her lack of secret admirers.

As of back then, she used to invite Kizami and Kurosaki over to sleepovers when they were still children. It was all fun and games at the time, since there were tons of snacks at her place. Then again, everything was so fun and innocent throughout their childhood, if you didn't count the fact that there had been an occasion where Kizami had attempted to beat a student half to death in elementary school... with that student coincidentally being one of Heiri's bullies.

Friend(s):
Mitsuki Yamamoto, Tohko Kirisaki, Emi Urabe, Kai Shimada, Yuuya Kizami, Kensuke Kurosaki, Masato Fukuroi, Tomohiro Ohkawa, Ryousuke Katayama

Acquaintances/Never Met:
Yui Shishido, Naho Saenoki, Sayaka Ooue, Inumaru Haruyuki, Kou Kibiki, Shougo Taguchi, Naomi Nakashima, Seiko Shinohara, Satoshi Mochida, Yuka Mochida, Nari Amatoya, Chihaya Yamase, Yoshie Shinozaki, Sakutaro Morishige, Ran Kobayashi, Azusa Takai, Satsuki Mitsuhara and Aiko Niwa

Rival(s):
There's Tohko, of course, but Heiri will never think they're rivals just because they like the same boy. Friends aren't supposed to go against each other, right? Besides that, though, Heiri feels rather bitter towards Kizami's fangirls... so she might consider them as her contenders. Not like she would have put up much of a fight towards the very end.

Enemies:
Sachiko Shinozaki, Ayumi Shinozaki, Yoshikazu Yanagihori, Yuki Kanno, Ryou Yoshizawa, Tokiko Tsuji

Love Interest(s):
Yuuya Kizami
They knew each other while they were still in kindergarten. Back then, the teachers had deemed Kizami to be a trouble maker but quite honestly enough, Heiri just wanted someone to depend on her. That's why she chose the most "troubled" kid as her first friend. Starting from day one, she supposedly remained on his side... and attempted to let certain consequences slide, so as to get teachers to spare him. Despite this, however, Kizami never really did open up to her, as it was believed that she had only used him to feel better about herself.

From what Kizami remembered by remaining inside the classroom for detention after-school, he would use to see Heiri playing by herself from the nearby window... and sometimes, he would even witness tears spilling out of her eyes, leaving him to speculate that the bright, cheery facade she put up around him was just a lie; therefore, their friendship must have been a lie as well. While it may be true that Kizami didn't care about her at all, Heiri secretly treasured every moment they spent together. It was that precious to her.

With Kizami, she experiences a sense of security. Perhaps this originated from the many times he nursed the wounds on her body by using band-aids or just listening to her but each and every time, he never seemed to hold anything against her. To Heiri, he was gentle and understanding... the person whom inspired her to stand up against those bullies in her own special way. Kizami was... the only person whom she believed she could always turn to, while the latter happened to believe that she only needed him for her own closure and nothing else.

Even upon knowing of his tendencies towards violence, Heiri managed to look past that because no matter what, he would still be the Yuu-kun she fell for. From having known that Tohko was crushing on him as well, she gave up on him for quite some time... but throughout the stay at Heavenly Host, Heiri realized that she couldn't. Furthermore, Tohko had no longer been suitable for Kizami. From that point on-wards, Heiri is willing to go through any lengths for him, regardless of how cruel it might be.

Kai Shimada
For Heiri, it was love at first sight... with Shimada's looks definitely being a factor of why she started crushing on him in the first place. After returning his lost phone a total of two times, he started acting friendly and casually conversing with her. Other than Kurosaki who might have done so just to reassure her, Shimada was the first boy who ever called her 'cute' with Katayama and Ohkawa soon following after. Of course, Heiri never did keep her hopes up and think that he might feel the same way, seeing as though he was always around other girls.

Sure, Shimada could be sort of rude and pushy at times with the way he would suddenly look through her notebook without permission, but Heiri believes that he meant well. Plus, it was fun talking to him about all sorts of things and their conversations would always make her seem as though she was worthwhile. In all honesty, Heiri doesn't mind doing him favors but just wishes that he could stop being so careless. As much as she wishes him all the happiness in the world, she has no desire to see him behind bars... nor does she want these feelings for Shimada to grow evenmore than necessary.

At times, her crush on him is more of an on-off thing. There are moments where her heart ceased to skip faster and then the next thing she knows, she would suddenly start fantasizing about the redhead.

"How is it that you could be so selfish and ungrateful? If he dies while trying to save you, it's all your fault, so if you die, I will never forgive you. That's why... "Emi-chan... why... did you turn against Yuu-kun? You were supposed to be his friend and yet... you gave up on him so easily. Leaving Yuu-kun all alone like that... I can't forgive you. I... absolutely hate girls like you!" - To Emi Urabe

"Is it fine if I kill you? Since we're both girls and all..." - To Emi Urabe

Trivia:
Heiri will always die for the same reason; to protect Kizami.

Heiri shares the same surname with Mukuro Ikusaba from Dangan Ronpa.

These are the nicknames Heiri had given to all the boys in Byakudan Senior High; Yuu-kun, Ken-kun, Masa-kun, Ryo-kun, Tomo-kun and Kai-kun.

For girls, Heiri just likes to add 'chan' at the end of their names or surnames.

In the game, it is speculated that Heiri had injured not only Mitsuki but Emi and Tohko as well.

From thumb tacks that draw blood atop of her cheeks, Pika can manipulate it to shoot out like electricity, which can sting like a taser or feel like thunder enclosing in depending on how much of it rains down upon the target. With Lightning Rhapsody, she could also form a ball composing of this blood over her hand to shoot at incoming opponents. As Pika's Branch of Sin contains strange properties, it can spread far and wide after successfully hitting the specific target, usually leading to Pika being zapped as well. If one were to make physical contact with the blood, then they can experience a literal shock, unless she happens to be unconscious at the time or somehow maintaining a control over her blood.

Fighting Style:
Pika is what you'd call careless in a fight and will just charge forward without thinking about the consequences. One may call her suicidal but that is simply how she operates in Carnival Corpses. On the other hand, she can be quite unpredictable with her attacks, alternating between close combat and long ranged proximity. Quite surprisingly enough, she also proves rather fast and durable. If she really wants to win, on the other hand, which is admittedly a rare occurrence, then Pika will resort to sly tactics, like incorporating feints into her attacks and possibly using every dirty trick in the book.

Hair Colour:
Light platinum blonde

Hair Length:
Long, reaching just below her chest

Eye Colour:
Biologically brown

Eye Shape:
Round-ish almond eyes

Clothes:
Pika wears a thin sweater with half being red on the left side and the other half being yellow on the right side. The red sleeve actually stops a little past the elbow while the yellow sleeve goes up to the wrist. Other than her collar, the rest of her attire is black, complete with finger-less gloves, skirt and leggings. Like Shiro, she also doesn't seem to wear shoes.

Body:
Pika has a slender frame that is shaped like a triangle. Accompanied by a small waist are slightly defined curves that jut out enough to appear feminine. As a death-row inmate, it goes without saying that she would develop a bit of muscle during her time there, which could be found around her legs and a bit on her stomach. Though not as muscular as Senji is, Pika does have one pack abs.

Scars/Tattoos/Birth Marks:
Pika has faded cuts on her cheeks that one normally can't see, unless they peer closer, but then again, it's usually covered up by strands of hair. From a fight with Minatsuki, she also has a scar from her left wrist that looks as though it's slashed by a knife when it really isn't.

Accessories:
Blood Converter Jewelry
This can be found on her back underneath the collar and sweater. It is possible to take it off, but Pika grew oddly attached to the pointy ends of the jewelry and decided to keep them on.

Eye Contacts
As her vision grew worse, Pika eventually purchased eye contacts with her Cast Points. There hadn't exactly been a reason why they came in yellow and red, besides the fact that she thought it would create a "nice touch" on her appearance. Over time, Pika modified the red eye to have a homing tracer that activates in combat, which guides the rate of speed, time and position needed to properly use her Branch of Sin the most effective way. She doesn't rely on it often but if serious about winning, Pika will use it as many times as she wished.

Black Ribbons
These were a gift from her late mother as a reward for learning to play a song when she was three years old. Pika kept them ever since as a memento of her, which she would have in her own twin pigtails growing up. As it's really important to her, she will grow frantic, upon losing them. They can now be found in her hair, where it's arranged in two loops at the back.

Biography:
When Pika was born, her mother, Chiyoko, happened to be a widow. The woman had lost her husband, Daichi, who was an aspiring musician at the time, from depression and drug overdose, as a result of nobody "appreciating" his music. Unfortunately, though, he never became aware of the pregnancy. Ever since then, Chiyoko wanted her daughter to continue from where he left off, so she taught Pika how to play the piano at the young age of 3. She had always encouraged her to keep playing but a year after that, the Tokyo Earthquake struck. In the end, Chiyoko became impaled by a shard of falling glass while trying to save Pika, who had currently been half buried underneath a pile of rubble. At some point or another, she might also have been infected with the Nameless Worm, possibly even before that.

Thankfully, the girl's aunt came along just in time to rescue her, accompanied by husband Kyosuke Mikami and their daughter Saya Mikami, but by then, however, they were honestly too late. Pika's mother had already died. Ever since then, she was adopted by them and taken to live in Sapporo, which became what she was used to for basically the rest of her 14 years. During that time, Pika had been thought of as a bright, outstanding lady with a bright future ahead of her. She possessed exceptionally good grades in school and nearly made the top of her class a few times.

 What didn't change, on the other hand, was her attachment to the piano. Some days, Pika will just play for hours on end, even without there being a recital to prepare for. Other times, well, she would simply be found alongside her uncle, Kyosuke, in the garage. Eventually, she self taught herself how to create things out of scratch like machinery and kitchen devices to more. She hadn't really discovered her Branch of Sin until making a unique jewelry that connects to her own veins, which had the capability to convert blood flow into electricity and charge mobile devices. Ever since then, however, her abilities itself became modified yet also unstable.

Whenever she found herself bleeding, Pika couldn't exactly control the random bouts of electricity shooting out nor would it stop, even after pulling it off. Upon discovering the sort of damage her Branch of Sin could do to the trees, Pika had resolved to restrict her contact with the outside world entirely, save for attending school or taking part in piano concerts. Her classmates themselves were considerably friendly and lacking in evil intentions, but given her sheltered nature, she always figured that there was 'good' in everyone.

One day, on the other hand, Saya managed to convince Pika to join her at the Sapporo Maruyama Zoo, where she had accidentally fallen into a lion's enclosure and was consequently attacked. In order to prevent her death, the girl had unconsciously fought back with her Branch of Sin, which fired  bolts of blood converted electricity that not only killed the lion, but also a few spectators alongside a couple of workers. Thankfully, though, Saya was generally unharmed. From that point on, however, she became arrested and placed on trial for the electrocution of the lion and other victimized citizens. Despite Saya trying desperately hard to vouch for her cousin, Pika was ultimately sent to Deadman Wonderland.

In the span of time she spent there, which was about over a year, Pika's appearance gradually changed from a plain Jane senior high school student to an oddly dressed, hetero-chromatic death row inmate dwelling in G-Ward. Apparently, it is said that she picked up her weird fashion sense from a former cell mate whom later died in a Carnival Corpse match.

Personality:
Basically, Pika's an "I got your back!" kind of gal once you bother befriending her. She's pretty much straightforward and won't exactly hesitate on helping a stranger she only knew for a few seconds; in other words, the girl is pretty much a good-natured kid (yet also naive), with all things being considered. As a habit of hers, Pika tends to replace the word "you" with the word "chu". She happens to have a lot of self confidence and thus, can prove pretty cheeky at times. Either way, she always finds something to tease the other person about.

On the other hand, if they tease her right back, Pika would actually be the one growing embarrassed; furthermore, she has a weakness for any type of affection. A hug or a kiss would simply make her melt into a puddle of bashfulness, though she secretly adores the attention. Pika is the type to only fight if really required (or knows she can't win); otherwise, she might be spewing off nonsense like friendship and magic while making a point of emphasizing it's importance.

Above all else, though, Pika's shown to harbor a masochistic side from being able to successfully get off by feeling pain. It might have been for the fact her circumstances in Deadman Wonderland had conditioned this unusual obsession, yet either way, she mainly participates in the Carnival Corpse to get hurt and 'die'. In fact, the girl often fantasizes morbidly about her death. To be clear, Pika doesn't actually like harming people, but forcibly being on the receiving end of it is all fair game to her; furthermore, she finds pain to be more exquisite upon struggling with all her might not to be hurt. Then again, friendship would be what she values the most out of the two, so she doesn't mind dying for a friend.

Now that she has grown half deaf, however, it is noted that she will always listen quite attentively to whoever is talking to her by possibly even moving closer to them if needed. Despite her rather gullible nature, Pika is also considerably gifted. Aside from being musically talented in the piano, she had additionally invented several homing devices and even installed a couple of cameras into prison cells as well as a GPS tracker to monitor certain individuals in Deadman Wonderland.

Like(s):
Playing the piano, pain, friendship, BDSM magazines, My Little Pony, sadists, magic tricks,

Dislike(s):
Having to hurt those she holds dear, thinking about her mother, not being able to hear what other people say, her slight deafness,

Hobbies:
Piano and practicing rope bondage on dolls

Goal(s):
As stated before, Pika just wanted to die in the most painful way possible in Deadman Wonderland but if she ever did get out, participating in a BDSM porno getting back to playing piano would be nice.

Relationship(s):
Parents -
Daichi Ichinose
As Pika never met her father, she doesn't really know exactly what he's like. From what the girl is told, however, Daichi had been a really handsome yet gloomy individual obsessed with Pikachu merchandise. It was probably the reason Chiyoko dedicated the name 'Pika' unto their daughter.

Chiyoko Ichinose
Chiyoko was a music teacher in an elementary school, but to Pika, she was a quiet yet kindly woman. As her death was rather traumatizing, the girl honestly didn't like thinking about her mother. Though their time together was quite short, Pika treasured every moment of it and is rather thankful Chiyoko introduced her to the piano. Every now and then, however, she would still cry over her death after playing the first song she was taught.

Sibling(s) -
N/A

Relative(s):
Kyosuke Mikami
Pika seemed to have a healthy relationship with her uncle. He was an understanding man that seemed crazy about fixing cars. As a child, she remembered being given piggy back rides and the faint scent of his coat. One way or another, Pika never minded the filthy garage as they both tinkered with tools together, whenever he wasn't busy. Either way, Kyosuke served as the only father figure she ever had since her own was already long dead before her birth. The man openly welcomed Pika with open arms and made itself known that he was proud to have another brilliant daughter. After that, the only reason she knew of his death had been through Saya, which became news that made her upset.

Hisano Mikami
Compared to her mother, Hisano was a doting and affectionate parent. Like all parents are, on the other hand, she proved a bit embarrassing at times but of course, the woman obviously meant well. Considering the things Pika had just gone through as a child, Hisano always went out of her way to look out for the girl. Though sometimes overly concerned, she always made sure to make her feel loved as a whole. From how Hisano was nowhere to be found after Pika and Saya escaped Deadman Wonderland, it's safe to assume that she might have died or committed suicide, given the events that took place, like her husband dying and both her children having gone to a prison for possibly their whole lives.

Saya Mikami
Pika's manly cousin. They have a sisterly bond together, yet on the other hand, her protective nature can be a bit overbearing at times. Though she understands Saya just cares about her, she is absolutely certain that she doesn't need to be looked after 24/7, not to mention the fact that her potential deaths already became interrupted many times. In short, the other girl is basically a knight in shining armor Pika didn't need, but then again, she could never hate herself for it.

Much to her annoyance, Saya likes to call her Pikachu, which is something she believes isn't as cute as she is. Other times, though, Pika is just frustrated that she even bothers trying to change her. Up until now, the girl was already convinced that dying in Deadman Wonderland had truly been ideal but here, Saya contradicts that entirely. As much as Pika loves her cousin, on the other hand, it's a running gag that the girl often has a strange, ninja-like tendency of being nowhere to be found when she needs her. Despite this being unintentional, Saya will ensure to keep her within sight for as much as possible.

Toto Sakigami
Before Toto first met Yosuga and had Hagire Rinichiro's memories implanted inside him, Pika was the one who approached the boy, on account of how troubled he looked. As it turned out, he had apparently lost his Cast Card and being the kind person she was, Pika offered to help him out and in the end, they ended up finding it together. At that point on, she really thought they became friends. Especially considering the fact Toto was always 'nice' to her, Pika became encouraged to spend more time in his company.

As luck would have it, however, her first Carnival Corpse involved fighting him. It was back when she still valued friendship more than fighting and dying, but either way, Pika just forfeited the match. This caused her to lose part of her liver in a penalty game, though it wasn't as if she minded at the time. Toto, on the other hand, felt guilty but her cell mate had out-rightly stalked over and lied about how she never wanted anything to do with him anymore for the sake of her own well-being, which was enough to convince the boy to stop conversing with Pika entirely.

After that, they just grew distant. Pika didn't know exactly when it started, but Toto no longer spared so much as a glance towards her anymore. It made her shocked, to the point of just standing motionless in the middle of G Ward's main hallway at one point. Later on, however, her cell mate made her think that Toto no longer cared about her and so, she forgot about him for a while... that is, until Pika started watching more of his Carnival Corpse matches.

Little by little, the girl eventually developed 'feelings' for him. Additionally, there was the implication that from time to time, she even masturbated to those video clips. Once Pika had encountered him again as Hagire's third generation counterpart, however, it made a really lasting impression on her. Quite honestly enough, he proved even more alluring than she expected and it... made her really more flustered and aroused than she was used to. It may be akin to love or lust, but then again, she finds her heart skipping a beat around him. At the very least, though, Toto seems to harbor an interest towards her, considering how her Branch of Sin is rather unique.

Minatsuki Takami
Pika simply adores the girl, though for reasons that normally don't apply to regular people. It was because Minatsuki afflicted her with so much pain during one of the Carnival Corpse matches that their relationship never became the same. Needless to say, Pika would openly gush about her and occasionally pursue the girl, who unsurprisingly thinks of her as a disgusting masochist. She calls her Mina-chan and expresses delight when faced with torment; regardless, Pika does whatever she says, whether it be fetching her a juice box or spending all her Cast Points on whatever she wanted.

In the end, Minatsuki treats her as a slave. Despite this, Pika likes keeping tabs on her, which includes installing a camera in an unnoticeable corner of the room. Then again, Saya seems to have a strong mutual dislike for Minatsuki. Considering how she was the one at fault for Pika losing an ear, her cousin thinks that the girl is a bad influence as a whole. Whenever she sees Minatsuki around her, let's just say that it is not good news. Saya would immediately assume that she is up to no good and fly to Pika's defense, which usually leads to arguments flying back and forth.

Yoh Takami

Though he may be a thief, Pika honestly wanted to help him. Yoh may have manipulated her and toyed with her emotions, but in the end, he complimented on her plaintive appearance and gave that confidence boost she now possessed. It was basically what made Pika receive a huge ego, considering how nobody else besides her deceased cell mate ever bothered to say such things. In the end, she never figured out what Yoh's intentions were, though the moment Pika had learned about his relation with Minatsuki, she immediately expressed the desire to aid in his ambition to free her.

Perhaps she was indeed naive, but the girl could only see good from him. To Pika, he seemed a whole lot like the older brother she never had, especially upon comforting her when her old cell mate died. Even after becoming friends with Ganta and the others, she trusts him wholeheartedly, to the point where such a thing couldn't have been ignored. Over time, it became apparent that Yoh grew to care about her more, as he had once been concerned and yelled at Pika for acting reckless.

Despite the fact he wasn't necessarily her type, she still feels warm and fuzzy whenever he initiates a casual form of affection with her (like patting her head, amongst other things).

Branch of Sin:
Ring Alteration

Branch of Sin Ability:
Using whatever random knife she has attached to her belt at the time to cut the dorsal part of her hands (which is the back side of Saya's palm), blood flows around her waist to form a floating substance that is shaped like a wide halo. She can expand it or make it spin to deflect attacks, though that is just a few of her blood's functions. In Ring Alteration, Saya can shoot projectiles out of the circle and make it grow attached spikes that could extend anywhere. Her branch of sin is also capable of shape shifting to create a rectangular shield from a portion of the circle that temporarily guards her from harm below or above the waist, though Undertaker Weapons just make it crumble or fly past as if it were a mirror. Despite this, though, those attacks would usually be nullified, so it will hurt much less.

Fighting Style:
Saya prefers to fight at a distance, so she's more often than not, a ranged fighter. As her body isn't that physically quick, she will rely on dodging by using the roller-blades attached to the bottom of her retractable shoes. Saya will also occasionally attempt to attack at a constant rate to exhaust her opponents or alternate from defense and offense, but then again, she will usually be the one to get tired most of the time.

Biography:
Before the Tokyo Earthquake and having the Nameless Worm invade her body, Saya lived a relatively normal life, surrounded by both loving parents. When her mother, Hisano, had her, she actually possessed an older twin sister named Youko, but during birth, the girl ended up being the only one to survive. It was basically a miracle Saya ended up unharmed.

Her father ran an auto body ship and her mother was a simple house wife. Quite honestly enough, she had it way more easier than others, because both of them miraculously survived throughout the earthquake. She only really lost one relative, which was her cousin's mom, whom they tried to reach as fast as possible. Fortunately enough, on the other hand, the other girl, Pika, survived and ever since then, she came to live with them in Sapporo; needless to say, her mother was delighted to have another 'daughter', though became obviously distressed at her sister's death.

Whether she became conscious of it or not, her powers had always been there, though never truly awakened up until now. Throughout those earlier years, Saya took up the hobby of roller skating. In time, she suffered a major trauma from being accidentally pushed down a steep hill top by a fellow classmate, resulting in a broken arm and a portion of the hill mysteriously destroyed and never questioned. Throughout the years, Saya had noticed Pika's overall sheltered behavior and managed to convince the girl to accompany her to the zoo on the day before she was due to study at a school for fashion design; only, the outing hadn't gone as planned.

By the end of it all, her cousin became arrested for killing a rampaging lion and the surrounding people in the vicinity, save for her. It was a crime that Saya became convinced she didn't mean to commit, but as she was the only witness at the time, Pika was ultimately sentenced to Deadman Wonderland.

About half a month later, her father, Daichi, came to visit his daughter on campus grounds as a way to cheer her up. When they were off to lunch, however, there was a drunk driver wrecking havoc out on the streets. Saya turned baffled by not how many people they ran over or the way the police failed to catch them so far, but how the person behind the wheel looked a lot like her. Unfortunately, it became a hit and run situation with her father and angered, Saya left his corpse behind to run after the impost-er.

Her Branch of Sin initiated for the first time after that so in the end, she managed to destroy the car alongside whoever occupied it. On the other hand, she had been unintentionally hit by stray bullets from police officers (who ended up being ran over), with the end result being that she eventually fainted from her wounds. When morning came, the impost-er was nowhere to be found and Saya was found unconscious on the cold concrete. Like Ganta, though, she had been brought to the hospital before soon recovering. Once her condition improved, Saya arrived at court with Tamaki, whom she never trusted, being her lawyer.

Of course, one thing led to another and she took leave for Deadman Wonderland, the way her cousin had been. Oddly enough, though, Saya never quite regretted her actions that led up to this point.

Personality:
While Saya isn't exactly the cheerful type, she almost doesn't have any discouraging bone in her body. Chances are, if somebody is sleeping, she will take a nap right next to them and if somebody is crying, she will wordlessly hug them. It doesn't really matter either way should a friend be embarrassed by their own antics because Saya will most likely join in on the silly train and possibly make them feel less ashamed by doing so. Basically, she is a firm believer in being weird together, so she will definitely be hugging a tree with somebody else, the consequences be damned. On that note, Saya appears to be very supportive of people's choices, unless what they're doing is considered dangerous or just plain wrong.

From what is shown in battles, she is quick-witted and capable of using her head, but for the most part, appears unenthusiastic. In fact, Saya displays a cool and collected demeanor for nearly every situation at hand. As much as possible, she also tries to keep her happiness, sadness and fear stifled, though sometimes, that is a little hard to do, especially considering the fact she has acrophobia. Around heights, Saya will instantly grow nervous and panic-y. With shaky legs, she seems to always descend stair steps rather slowly, despite stating otherwise. Even the thought of being atop of a high place makes her queasy, to be honest.

More often than not, though, she is described to be rather 'gentlemanly'. She will readily open doors for others and pull out chairs for them to sit on. Saya also has no qualms in carrying anybody like a princess to prevent them from incoming danger, like what she has done for Pika. Despite this, on the other hand, she does have some feminine qualities like having a penchant for fashionable clothes, shopping and posing in pictures.

As far as first impressions go, she is sociable and talkative. Then again, Saya is fiercely independent and has difficulty relying on others, so that occasionally becomes a problem somewhere down the road. Around friends and family, however, she proves extremely protective and will stand up for them, no matter what. If they're safe and well, then Saya wouldn't really care what happens to her. In that regard, she would be considered selfless. With Pika in particular, she always shows outright animosity towards anybody who makes her suffer. After her father died, Saya no longer became the same, causing a defensive side to emerge regarding the girl.

Stylish clothes, shopping, cute things, taking selfies, roller skating, video games, drawing outfit designs and sewing

Dislike(s):
Heights, planes, anybody harming her friends or cousins, spending time with those she holds dear, the Undertakers, Deadman Wonderland and Tamaki Tsunenaga

Hobbies:
Sewing, roller skating and drawing

Goal(s):
Saya wants to get rid of Pika's fixation with death and leave Deadman Wonderland together.

Relationship(s):
Parents -
Kyosuke Mikami
Seeing as she was the only child that made it out alive from his wife's womb, Kyosuke saw Saya's existence itself as a blessing. Right from the very start, he showered her with affection and love. Thanks to that, Saya had always been daddy's little girl, through and through. Around him, she used to smile a lot more, as well as proving attentive to his needs. Back then, Saya would always bring him homemade bentos and refreshments, whether it be at the garage or his own personal work place. With whatever dream or hobbies she decided to pursue, it was always Kyosuke that cheered her on. From time to time, he had additionally said that he was proud of her and Pika, beyond words can ever say.

Hisano Mikami
Her mother always remained a cheerful presence in the house. As far as she could remember, there wasn't a single time  Hisano showed unhappiness, or at least not until Pika became sent to court and finally Deadman Wonderland. As a parent, she had utmost confidence in Saya and Pika, both of whom she considered to be her most treasured children. In fact, the woman had stubbornly insisted that neither were in the wrong during a hearing. Not just  Pika, but with Saya, Hisano cared deeply for her, so much so to the point where she had willingly slapped Tamaki by the cheek before being dragged away by court officials.

Either way, her mother had left such a big, lasting impression on her, that she was now looked upon as a role model. In any case, Saya hoped that she could take on the task of being as compassionate and loving as her.

Sibling(s) -
Youko Mikami
Saya's unborn twin sister, who her own mom never liked talking about, since Youko's death apparently proved emotionally scarring.

Relative(s):
Daichi Ichinose
Saya never really met him, but she did hear mentions of his name and that he proved rather quirky. When Uncle Daichi died, it was something her parents and relatives wouldn't stop talking about for days.

Chiyoko Ichinose
Though Saya is aware that Chiyoko happened to be Pika's biological mother, she really doesn't know much about her other than the fact she happened to be really beautiful and used to teach music, once upon a time. Truth be told, she did see photos of her once, but that was through her's mom collection of stuff. From what it sounds like, Pika had a close bond with Chiyoko.

Pika Ichinose
Saya's adorable younger cousin, in whom she feels the need to protect. Quite honestly enough, she finds that it was her fault Pika even ended up at Deadman Wonderland in the first place. To begin with, Saya was always excited at the prospect of having a sister, but when she first saw her, it was like she witnessed a little angel itself descending from heaven. That was probably on account of how pretty she looked back then, but either way, the woman somehow always knew that Pika was something special. Heck, it didn't take particularly long for her to win over both mom and dad. Either way, Saya never outwardly showed a grudge, because it had already been clear to her that Pika went through far many painful things than she could ever have, like losing a parent.

In reality, she doesn't completely understand the girl, but from the impression being made on her, Pika appeared so weak and frail with an innocence radiating off of her. Throughout their later years, it had been a given that she would notice the way she never socialized. As family, Saya worried for her incessantly and put aside personal time to hang out with Pika. Even now, the other girl still remains important to her. Anybody ever daring to risk harm on such a "delicate creature" would certainly be facing Saya's wrath.

Nagi Kengamine
It was rather easy for Nagi to recruit Saya into the ranks of Scar Chain. To be honest, she was all for it, the moment he mentioned their goal. Like Karako, Saya had also been aware of his dead son, which oddly reminded her of her sister that was never born, but either way, she never forced the ugly truth out of her lips. Nagi was someone she honestly couldn't see committing a single crime, and so, there was that need to watch his back as much as possible. To him, she was considered a "true friend", but in all honesty, Saya already figured that there had been no more room in his heart for another. To think so otherwise would have been foolish.

In any case, Saya supported his goals to no end, to the point where she even declared that she try her absolute hardest to achieve his dream of freedom. Perhaps Nagi was like that towards everyone, but he acted rather kind towards her. At one point, the man even prevented her gradual fall down the stairs. Whenever it came those accursed steps, he would always be willing to hold her hand while descending them. Not only that, but he was also patient in dealing with her fear of heights. Little by little, Saya additionally sought to seek his praise and witness that smile only reserved for her.

Back  then, she felt as though she truly knew Nagi on a deeper and personal level, considering how they would have long chats about everything and anything. Once he died, Saya became absolutely infuriated and almost perished by the hands of Genkaku from a reckless assault she made on him, if it weren't for Pika's quick thinking.

Senji Kiyomasa
From the very get go, Saya had always been intrigued by Senji. Perhaps it was because he always looked so bad ass, but at some point or another, she always started being at the workout station he was at, nonchalantly lifting weights. With boredom being in the way, she would also initiate pointless conversations. Eventually, before either of them knew it, Saya became Senji's 'work out buddy'. To be honest, she considered him as the first friend she ever made and attempted to befriend. It wasn't particularly long until handing over spare towels and buying each other water bottles became a regular occurrence with Saya.

The moment Senji discovered her abilities as a Deadman, he showed signs of respect towards her, especially upon seeing the Carnival Corpse match she was pitted against. Rather honestly enough, however, Saya never wanted to fight him despite the fact Senji may want to do so, not just because he's dangerous but because he was such a cool guy. To express how much she liked him, the woman acted friendly enough. Then again, Senji did state that he didn't want to play at being friends in a place like this, but on the other hand, it never really stopped her from hanging around him.

Somewhere along the way as well, she must have additionally developed a crush, because every time she encountered him, there arose a certain giddiness within her and butterflies that danced around in her stomach. Saya had no idea how that exactly started, but either way, she harbored no intention to ever act upon these feelings. As far as she was concerned, Senji could never see her in that way.
